This Intel campaign focused on consumers transitioning from Hard Disk Drives to Solid State Drives. Intel’s breakthrough in SDD technology allowed users to purchase SSDs for nearly the same amount as an HDD, increasing a personal computer’s performance by as much as 45 percent. We developed posters to advertise the new SSD’s power as well as a web experience specifically targeting gamers (who received a free video game download with purchase).
Coinciding with the digital banner campaigns and retail posters, mainstream video games were often promoted as a bonus download with the purchase of a solid state drive or i7 processing chip. These landing pages were translated into a dozen languages and were always accompanied by animated and static banner packages with similar themes and branding.
