A Second Brand Tone

Grön is, above all else, an innovative cannabis brand. In early 2018, GrönCBD's story began – launching with 2 humble chocolate bars and Oregon's first-ever CBD Café.

In just 2 years, the CBD brand evolved into what it is today: an elegant yet accessible CBD Wellness brand – boasting 3 distinctive lines of consumable products, a skincare line, and a seasonal indulgent line.

It has been one of the great joys of my life to have worked so collaboratively with multiple teams of people while developing the tone of the CBD brand. The work you're about to see is a testament to the CBD team's craft, love, and dedication.

A New Opportunity

Unlike THC, whose marketing and advertising channels were limited, CBD could ultimately be sold as a dietary supplement. This meant we could sell it online – direct to our fans & customers.

As such, the brand focused heavily on developing a strong digital presence – dedicating much of its time and energy to supporting shopgron.com, Instagram, and e-mail marketing campaigns. Much of the success of these digital applications rely on beautiful photography, and I was privileged to work with two of the best.

Creating these little one-off products was always fun – it usually meant we were going to get to work with custom chocolate molds and extra-crafty printing methods.
