While its heart may always be with confections and edibles – topicals nevertheless presented incredible opportunities for Grön's ever-growing fanbase of CBD customers. Designing the skincare packaging, discovering its colors & textures, and ultimately finding its voice within the Grön brand (especially on shopgron.com) will always hold a special place in my heart.

Skincare Led the Way
In GrönCBD's infancy, there was much internal debate on whether or not CBD's general tone should mirror that of GrönTHC. In retrospect, the skincare branding/packaging and its subsequent digital and print collateral extensions paved the way for guiding principles in the entire GrönCBD brand. Its use of color, form, layout design, negative space, typography, and beautifully rich photography (masterfully showcasing lifestyle and product application) transformed its tone into something both accessible and romantic.

GrönCBD comes to Japan
Some of the most profound "cannabis miracles" I ever witnessed came from customers using our skincare products. The one I will never forget involved a woman suffering from pain in her hands so severe, it rendered her fingers nearly immobile. She had come to our newly opened CBD Café seeking relief but was skeptical of CBD's efficacy.
After using one of our lotions (and waiting about 20 minutes) the unimaginable happened... she began opening and closing her fingers.
She wept. Her husband wept. The Café wept.
My views on cannabis were never the same.
